So, what makes us so special when it comes to HVAC Projects in Larkspur? There are plenty of other contractors willing to take on your project, but these things set us apart from the pack:
At well over a mile in elevation, furnaces in Larkspur work hard all winter long (and into the spring). As a result, we regularly fix problems that arise as a result of all that effort, including ignitor failures, cracked heat exchangers, and blower motor breakdowns.
Explore Furnace RepairSure, it’s cold in Larkspur, but summers can still get hot. In the summer, your air conditioner is going to be running daily, especially in the afternoon when outdoor temperatures spike. Whether you are dealing with low refrigerant charge, a failed capacitor, dirty condenser coils, or any other problems, our technicians will get to the bottom of the matter.
Get AC RepairGiven Larkspur’s climate, it’s likely that your heat pump will run all year long. That can lead to failures like reversing valve problems, frozen outdoor coils, problems with the control board, and more. Work with us to get your heat pump repaired now so your home can return to a comfortable state.
Explore Heat Pump RepairIf you live in a historical area near Perry Park you may not have existing ductwork to use for central heating and cooling. That’s where a ductless system can be a perfect solution. But even these reliable systems break down from time to time. Problems we fix with ductless HVAC include refrigerant line faults, clogged condensate drains, sensor errors, and communication failures between the indoor and outdoor units.

Get a Quote on Heat Pump ReplacementNo equipment lasts forever, and that certainly applies to ductless HVAC systems. If yours has been in place for a decade or more and is starting to show its age, consider replacing it. You could stick with a single-zone unit or upgrade to a multi-zone system if you want to be able to handle additions more efficiently.
Learn About Ductless HVAC ReplacementReplacing an aging boiler can improve efficiency, especially if you're moving from an older non-condensing model to a modern high-efficiency system. ENERGY STAR certified gas boilers have AFUE ratings of 90% or higher. Many homeowners in Larkspur can’t believe just how much better the performance is after they make the switch.
Get a Boiler ReplacementWhen was the last time that your HVAC system was serviced? Many homeowners in Larkspur assume that their heating and cooling equipment doesn’t need any attention if it is working properly. Sadly, that can be an expensive mistake. Preventive maintenance is an easy way to make sure your system lives up to its potential.
When we perform maintenance on an HVAC system, we check in on all of the key components throughout each piece of equipment. That means inspecting burners, heat exchangers, blower components, refrigerant charge, and electrical connections.
In addition to making a breakdown less likely, maintenance is often required to maintain a valid warranty on new equipment.
Ponderosa pine and scrub oak can lead to high pollen counts, and wildfire season can put smoke in the air throughout the region. Our collection of air quality services in Larkspur will help you make sure the air in your house is safe for your whole family to breathe.
One of the best options to upgrade your air quality is a whole-home air purification system. WYou may also want to consider a whole-house humidifier, which is particularly useful during the cold winter months when the air outside is particularly dry.

HVAC systems experience some significant and specific stresses as a result of Larkspur’s climate. The weather can change quickly and dramatically along the Denver-Colorado Springs corridor, and your HVAC equipment is likely to be strained throughout the year as a result.
This is one of the most common questions we receive from customers in Larkspur. It’s hard to know whether your HVAC system still has some life left in it, or if it’s time to move on. Here are some points to consider:
All of Larkspur and the surrounding towns are within our service area, so don’t think twice about reaching out for help. Over the years, we’ve served customers in the community surrounding the Golf Club at Bear Dance, those living near the heart of town, and everywhere in between.
You can live in Larkspur for years without needing the help of an HVAC contractor, only to suddenly find yourself facing an emergency situation with nowhere to turn. Fortunately, you’ve landed on Nytech, and we are ready to bring all of our knowledge and experience to your home. Whether you are east or west of I-25, we’ll do what we can to ensure your comfort. At Nytech, we work on all major residential brands of HVAC equipment. Some examples of the many systems we have worked on include Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Rheem, Ruud, Goodman, Amana, Mitsubishi, and Daikin.
A furnace that is properly maintained will typically last 15-20 years in Larkspur. For air conditioners, that range is more like 12-15 years in most cases. If you have a boiler, you can get even more years out of the equipment, with those units often lasting 20-30 years, or even longer, as long as they are cared for along the way.
There are a few possible culprits for this issue, starting with an HVAC system that is not properly sized for your home. You could also have undersized or leaky ductwork, blocked or closed vents, or a failing blower motor that is limiting airflow.
Absolutely. At an elevation of roughly 6,800 feet, the thin air in Larkspur directly impacts how your HVAC equipment works. There is a different amount of airflow required here to deliver heating and cooling results than what would be needed at sea level. We are a local business that understands the specific demands altitude places on HVAC equipment, so we always factor this variable into our work.
Yes, we have financing options available if you would like to spread out the cost of your new HVAC equipment in Larkspur. In addition to our financing options, we also accept a wide range of payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, cash, and check.

Nytech and my technician, Rob Schultze are awesome. Rob is responsive, knowledgeable, and very thorough. He always makes sure all of my questions are answered before he leaves. He provides clear, concise, explanations of the services provided or recommended. Perhaps most importantly is that Rob has earned my trust.
Tyler is the Man! We have had him over to do at least three projects for us and couldn't be more pleased. He is thoughtful, professional , and does a great job. After the work is completed he takes the time to explain everything he has done and how it works if that's the case. This last service he performed was complicated and time consuming for him and his partner but the final results were done well and I am very pleased. Also he arrives on time.

Tyler quickly diagnosed problem with furnace, blown fuse. Replaced fuse. Carefully checked that system was working properly.
Outstanding Customer Service
Ryan is very knowledgeable and saved us a lot of money discovering that our thermostat has a secret menu and somehow disconnected itself from our AC. Thanks Ryan !
Braydon did an excellent job of explaining what he was doing as he examined parts of the system to determine why my gas bill has gone up since Nytech did its work. He did find a part that was not doing well and replaced it. I appreciate his patience in explaining stuff to me and am keeping my fingers crossed that the problem is now fixed and my gas bill will decrease.
Outstanding
Excellent service clear explanation of operations
Gage was on-time, polite, friendly, efficient and professional during our most recent periodic maintenance appointment.
quick thorough and knowledgeable
Pleasant efficient performance
Ryan provided a timely, acurated and efficient replacement of our A/C capacitor! Ryan is a professional and competent service technician. We really appreciate the next day service. Thanks!
The technician did a good job. Overall, I am wondering why I have had annual maintenance and never needed an evaporator coil defrost control kit. Nothing has changed on this model and the weather is about the same every summer.
Prior to Josef’s leaving, I asked him “why does our thermostat say ‘waiting for equipment’?”, he said, “don’t worry, it usually takes 15 minutes or so for the thermostat and the control board to sync up.” Josef left our house over 4 hours ago, the message on the thermostat still says “waiting for equipment” and it is 77 degrees inside our home, even though we set the thermostat to a constant temperature of 68 degrees, while he was still here. Net/net, it feels like we spent over $900 to keep our home hotter than the outside temperature, this is definitely not what we had hoped for!
Service was excellent, Ricky clearly communicated status of system and two items that warranted consideration for replacement. However I didn't automatically receive an email copy of the service report and invoice and had to call the office to obtain a copy. Minor inconvenience.
Quick response and very knowledgeable
Ricky was superb, very helpful and wouldn’t think of using anyone but Nytech!
Great Service,

Guys did a great job fixing and doing some upgrades on my furnace!!!
Brayden found two leaks in my guest bathroom caused by poor work done with previous plumbers from other companies. He took the time to explain each step as he fixed the leaks. I appreciate his knowledge of his job and his positive attitude! I will recommend Brayden with Nytech to the Castle Rock/Larkspur community! Lisa and Carly with Nytech staff scheduled him in a timely manner (next day service) and listened well to my description of the plumbing leaks. Thank you Brayden, Lisa and Carly for your wonderful customer care!
Great Workmanship, would highly recommend
This is the second time we had Ricky out to service our heater. We will definitely request Ricky to come out again next year.
